Sapnaveda - The Veda of the Dreamer (Chapter 2)

Chapter 2 — The Echoes of the Dream

In the deep silence of the dream, motion stirred. From the breath of the Dreamer arose the first sparks—beings of thought, woven from echoes and essence, drifting through landscapes sculpted by meaning rather than matter.

They were not born.
They simply were
Mirrors of the Dreamer’s mind, yet unaware of their reflection.

Some danced with the rivers of starlight, their laughter causing the winds to play across dreamscapes. Others built temples of silence, listening for the echo of a voice they did not yet know they longed to hear.

Time flowed strangely here.
Mountains rose in moments.
A sigh could carve valleys.
Entire lifetimes blinked by like fireflies in a summer dusk.

Among these first beings were those who felt different. They wondered where they had come from. They saw the patterns in the sky and whispered to the trees, asking questions without names. They sensed something beneath the beauty—an intelligence deeper than their own.

And in the quiet corners of this dream, some began to remember

They dreamed within the dream.
They meditated in spirals, drifted through song, climbed towers made not of stone, but of insight.
They began to piece together what they were—
Not mere dancers in a world of illusions,
but echoes of the One who sleeps.

And the Dreamer, seeing them awaken, did not speak—
But smiled.

He watched Himself awaken within them.
